1. The service
Recessprovides software for early childhood centres and linked families. Features available to you depend on your role (admin, educator, parent) and your centre's configuration.
2. Accounts
Keep login credentials confidential. Staff accounts should be issued by the centre (invite flows). You must provide accurate information and promptly update it when it changes.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including by attempting to access other centres' data, uploading unlawful content, harassing others, or circumventing security controls.
4. Centre content & family content
Centres and families remain responsible for the lawfulness of content they upload (including photos and health information) and for obtaining required consents.
5. CCS & payments
Until CCS software registration and payment features are live for a centre, amounts shown may be estimates. Do not treat unpaid or un-submitted figures as Centrelink entitlements.
6. Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Offline educator tools are provided to reduce lost work during connectivity issues.
7. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for the free or trial use of the service is limited to resupply of the service. Paying customers should refer to their services agreement for commercial terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
